WE have loved coming to see Dr. Murmur for the past several years. He was recommended to us by a family friend that brings their two dogs to Murmur for several years now. We love his easy going nature, and how he didn't nickel and dime us for everything. Once after my dog had ACL surgery, my dog took our most of her stitches. I called him in a panic, the office fit me in, and he reassured me my dog was going to be fine. He didn't charge me for this visit, because literally all he did was take a look, and put some ointment on it. The other vets I have been to would charge me well over $100 for something like this. I will say with the new administration that's come in, things have changed a bit, and they are starting to rack up the charges quite a bit. So I don't know if I will continue if this becomes unaffordable.
My experience has always been great. I have had a lot of different dogs over the years and they have helped me with puppies and end of life situations with sensitivity and kindness. I also like having a lot of eyes behind the scenes in case the vet taking in a pet needs a specific kind of consultation. There is always more than one person to get advice from. I needed that once and it seemed like everyone weighed in on the problem so I did not need to go elsewhere for anything.
