In short, the gym is great for kids and mediocre otherwise.
Could be a better gym if the focus on the facility instead of certain areas. The gym equipment and floors are dusty and dirty and the locker room bathroom are in need of a serious makeover. It is also annoying when the kids are running around like the entire building is their play area.
Joined this year and it's just ok. The pool is great for the kids and the kids care area is also great.
The machines are literally on top of each other and you got to stare at the person in front of you. I don't know about others but if I continue to feel like I am crammed into a back corner, while their is a huge area of open space I am going to look for other alternatives.
Most of the place is occupied by some sort of class, etc on the weekends, so you can't use a lot of the facilities. Also, there are some maintenance issues. For example, my stuff has been locked in their lockers multiple times. This most recent one apparently required a third party to come remove a door. We were without our stuff for over a day...and had to keep calling them to get our stuff. Not good service......they actually just called back and said I had until 2p to get my stuff because 'Jorge' needs to go home and nobody has his key. Really?
If you want to spend a lot of money and lose your hearing, this is the place for you. The music is so pumped up that your ears literally hurt. When you complain to management, they send you to a computer kiosk to insert your complaint, but they don't offer to help in any way. The manager told me that this is the way it has been for 8 years and was hardly conciliatory, his response was pretty much don't use the gym at that time. We took one cycling class months ago, and it was the same thing - music was so loud I wanted to leave halfway. Clearly management has been rendered deaf by their own loud music as they don't care to listen to their customers.
They also always have some sort of junkie garage sale looking setup trying to sell some powder or clothing that looks like clearance racks. Looks really bad.
Here is one star then.
I certainly like this gym, but something happened today made me feel like the gym is run by machines.
Lastly, stay away from the salon if you're a man...the haircut I got was poor. I can't speak for any other services there.
I'm going to post a review about the newly remodeled fitness floor.
While I understand it is may still be a work in progress I am going to lay it out clearly that right now it appears that you greatly expanded the opened floor space and pushed the resistance machines into a corner.
